PARENT & STUDENT FEEDBACK

What working with Vector feels like.

Ten recent reviews, with three headline experiences first for a quick parent read.

“We started tutoring after my daughter struggled with her Year 11 mocks. She was quite reluctant at first but has really taken to the lessons. It's lovely seeing her become more confident with maths, particularly the harder questions she would normally leave blank. Very patient and approachable, would happily recommend.”

Rachel Davies · Parent, GCSE Maths

“Very knowledgeable and explains difficult topics really well. Further Maths can get quite overwhelming at times, especially complex numbers and matrices, but the lessons have helped me get a much better understanding of everything. I like that I can stop and ask questions whenever I'm confused rather than just having to keep up. Definitely been worth it.”

Oliver Bennett · A-Level Further Maths

“As someone who hasn't studied maths properly for years, I was really worried about the maths units on my Access course. The sessions have honestly been a massive help. Everything is broken down into manageable steps and I never feel embarrassed asking something basic. I've gone from dreading the maths assignments to actually feeling capable of doing them. Thank you!”

Rebecca Taylor · Access to HE Maths

“Helped me understand physics a lot better than I did before. I always got confused with rearranging equations and knowing which formula to use but after going through loads of different examples it's much easier. The lessons are relaxed and I can ask questions without feeling stupid. Really helpful.”

Daniel Murphy · GCSE Physics

“I've been getting help with both maths and physics throughout Year 12 and it's made a big difference. Sometimes I understand something in class but then get completely stuck when trying questions on my own. The tutoring has really helped with that, especially learning how to approach questions properly. Everything is explained clearly and I always come away understanding more than I did before.”

Priya Shah · A-Level Maths and Physics

“My daughter was doing well in normal maths but finding Further Maths much more challenging. The extra tuition has been excellent and has helped her get to grips with topics she wasn't confident about. She always comes away from the sessions feeling positive and says things make much more sense afterwards. We're very happy with the support she's received.”

Joanne Williams · Parent, GCSE Further Maths

“Honestly really helpful lessons. I was struggling with some of the harder pure maths topics and falling behind a bit, but being able to go through things properly one to one has helped loads. He doesn't just give you the answers, he makes sure you can actually work through the questions yourself. I wish I'd started the tutoring earlier.”
